The Amsterdam Gastroenterology Endocrinology Metabolism (AGEM) research institute offers a course specifically developed for PhD-students that perform research in the field of gastroenterology, endocrinology and metabolism. This course aims to inform (starting) PhD-candidates about gastroenterology, endocrinology and metabolism, including those topics that are not necessarily within the scope of their own research.

Learning objectives

The course runs for two weeks:

  • In the first week, all participants will get an overview of general insights and methodology applicable to gastroenterology, endocrinology and metabolism.
  • The second week will consist of two parallel courses ((1) gastroenterology and (2) endocrinology and metabolism) and will be more in depth.

Dates and location

The dates for the AGEM PhD-student course for 2021 are January 25th - February 5th.

    Due to the COVID-19 situation, the entire course will be given online via ZOOM. The ZOOM link will be provided to you just before the course starts.
