General

In the world of implementation science, it is widely recognized that no two implementation contexts are the same. Different settings have different determinants, such as organizational cultureand resources available, which can impact the success of implementation efforts.

This is why it is essential to tailor implementation strategies to match these determinants. By doing so, implementers can increase the likelihood of successful implementation and achieve better outcomes.

This module will provide you with the following knowledge and skills:

  • Identifying determinants of an implementation process in a specific context;
  • Developing implementation strategies that address the identified determinants;
  • Applying related methods and frameworks such as CFIR, ERIC, Implementation mapping and Tailored Implementation.

This is our third AmsCIS education module. In our previous education modules, we covered two
essential topics:

  1. Implementation in your Research Proposal/Study Design, and
  2. Stakeholder Engagement. Our upcoming education modules will focus on two
    more critical areas: 1) Implementation & Process Evaluation, and 2) Sustainability & Scaling up.

To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate, we plan to repeat these education modules either once a year or once every two years.
