This year’s APH Annual Meeting is themed ‘Digitalization’. In health care, digital solutions, technological innovations and big data offer new opportunities in the areas of diagnostics and treatment, prevention, and the organization and management of care at individual, institutional and system level.
Amsterdam Public Health
We are pleased to invite you for the 6th Annual Meeting of Amsterdam Public Health! This year’s Annual Meeting is themed ‘Digitalization’. We are delighted to announce that we have found two interesting experts to provide a keynote on this topic.
Dr. André Marquand from Radboud University will speak about combining innovative artificial intelligence techniques with multimodal big data in order to bring precision medicine to psychiatry. Dr. Emma Beauxis-Aussalet from VU Amsterdam will speak about the ethics of artificial intelligence.
Furthermore, we will highlight APH research containing digitalization elements and attendees can get acquainted with the use of virtual reality in healthcare in a VR experience room. In the afternoon, parallel theme sessions will take place in which our research programs have collaborated in organizing. There will be poster presentations, APH poster awards and APH Booster Grants ceremonies and an entertaining closing of the day followed by drinks and appetizers with live music.
It will be an interesting day on an emerging field of research with a lot of possibilities to network with your fellow APH researchers!
