Amsterdam Public Health
Cochrane is an international network of researchers. Cochrane produces high-quality, relevant, up-to-date systematic reviews to inform health decision making. AmsterdamUMC hosts 2 of the 52 Cochrane Review Groups: Cochrane Work and Cochrane Gynaecology and Fertility. In addition, AmsterdamUMC employs evidence synthesis experts affiliated with the Cochrane organization. As part of our work at AmsterdamUMC, we host a series of webinars.
Our first webinar is on Thursday September 30, 12:00-13:00 CEST: “Guidance for systematic review authors on how to consider the individual and the population perspective”. Sign up and learn during your lunch break about assessing the impact of prevention. This online learning event is open to everyone.
Dr. Jos Verbeek will talk about how the presentation of effect sizes from the perspective of an individual or a population can influence the judgments about the impact of prevention strategies.
