TEDx Amsterdam board member Salmaan Sana will give a lecture on how to connect with your audience and you can choose from 4 different workshops to practice your presentation skills .
The 4 different workshops: - My research, what’s in it for you? Learn how to pitch your research idea and discover what your selling point is. Recommended for: if you want to apply for a grant, need to convince other research institutes to work together or if you want to convince your boss of an idea for a new study.
- Powerful presentations! How do you use your voice and posture with more power and how do you present with confidence? Recommended for: those who need that little extra courage, or those who have a presentation for a big audience coming up.
- Theatre Skills for Scientific Talks. Learn how to use theatre skills to reach your audience and keep them actively listening and interested until the end of your presentation. Recommended for: those who like to think out of the box and for those who want to bring their presentation skills to the next level.
- The best job application. Nothing is as important as being able to present yourself at your best during a job interview. Recommended for: those who will have a job application soon, or those who would like to learn how to present themselves better in general and want to learn how to respond to difficult questions.
