Do you need funding for promising research, for collaborations, for sample or data collections that will strengthen the research(ers) of AR&D? Do you have a clear vision of how your proposal has the potential to lead to something much bigger in the coming years? Then this is the grant for you!

The Amsterdam Reproduction and Development (AR&D)
research institute invites all researchers from the Institute to apply for the AR&D Seed Funding Grant 2024.

AR&D will provide funding for research projects that take new ideas or current research lines to the next level, that are the start of new collaborations, or the beginning of new sample or data collections. The projects may comprise fundamental (biological), clinical, paramedical, implementation, translational or epidemiological research. Research projects that are a joint effort of different departments within Amsterdam UMC or with faculties from our universities UvA and VU are particularly encouraged to be submitted. For early-career researchers, doctoral students and postdocs, this grant can be a springboard for their careers. They are therefore encouraged to apply.
Grants can be used for personnel costs, bench fee, equipment, or other related research expenses. The seed that you plant should lead to something beautiful.

The maximum per project that will be awarded is 30,000,=. It is possible to submit smaller research projects. For larger projects, co-funding should readily be available.
