Amsterdam Center for Endocrine and Neuro Endocrine Tumors (ACcENT) was accredited as an European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) center of excellence for the treatment of neuroendocrine tumors and neuroendocrine carcinomas.

This unique and prestigious accreditation is for 5 years (the maximum) without conditions. In its review, ENETS noted the exceptional quality and organization of care provided by ACcENT. In particular, the multidisciplinary integration that is so relevant for this complex syndrome was highly appreciated.

About ACcENT

Endocrine and neuroendocrine tumors are rare and usually arise in hormone-producing organs such as the thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands and parathyroid glands. Different specialties are involved in the care of patients with endocrine and neuroendocrine tumors. In Amsterdam UMC, the knowledge about these tumors is bundled in one center: ACcENT.
