The role of early life factors in cognitive decline and dementia
Focus of research
My PhD project focuses on the early life origins of cognitive decline and dementia. During my PhD project I will work on systematic literature searches and collect new data in the Dutch famine birth cohort. Furthermore, I will work with data from CBS and Nivel and with previously gathered data from the Dutch famine birth cohort.
This work will be funded by an NWO Aspasia grant awarded to S.R. de Rooij.
