This grant is to stimulate young talent within the AII to visit a research facility important within the field of Immunology and Infectious Diseases to actively build their CV and network while also obtaining new knowledge (techniques, samples, data, competences etc.) valuable to AII.

'The visit was a great success: I was the connecting link between the Dutch and Austrian research group and was able to strengthen the collaboration during my visit. Furthermore, I got accustomed with a new model to study COVID-19 treatment. I cannot wait to put the new techniques I have learned in Austria into practice in the Netherlands.'
