Nina van Mastrigt, a PhD candidate at the dept of movement sciences, VU, has been given a grant to visit the Cognition and Action (CognAc) lab directed by professor Richard Ivry at Berkeley University of California. Nina aims to spend three months visiting the lab early next year, and while there she will collaborate with experts in the field of motor learning and increase her network within international academia. Nina’s PhD project is The dark side of reward: physical rehabilitation by reward absence and punishment, she is supervised by dr. Katinka van der Kooij and prof. Jeroen Smeets.
