Due to COVID-19, scientific interaction within the Cancer Center Amsterdam (CCA) has been limited and unfortunately it looks like this will take some more time before we can meet again at live seminars. We therefore decided to initiate an online platform that is open to all CCA researchers.

Last month we had a test run of this online internal seminar series to decide on the exact format and to determine if the TEAMS platform would not collapse. We can happily announce that the test run was a success and that all participants were enthusiastic about the format and the possibility to see and discuss research that happens within our own institutional walls.

Therefore we would like to announce the next phase in the seminar series, which we have called CCall, obviously referring to all Cancer Center Amsterdam researchers. We would like to invite you all to join us online on March 19th from 9.00-10.00. The Bijlsma lab from location AMC will present itself during a 1 hour session with first an overview of the research and then two talks by researchers from this team.

As we aim to create an interactive discussion we will stay with TEAMS for now hoping that we do not overrun the maximum occupancy of this platform (350). If we do have more than 350 participants this would mean it is an even bigger success than we hope for and we will quickly adapt to start a webinar format.
