Focus of research

I am currently one of the two PhD students in the REAL-HEARING project. I am affiliated with both the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, section Ear & Hearing at Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc, as well as the Biological Psychology department at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam. I finished my bachelor Biomedical Sciences in 2016 and my master Neurosciences in 2019, both at the VU.

In the REAL-HEARING project, we will look at stress and hearing impairment, using various methods, like psychophysiological measurements and pupillometry.

I am supervised by Prof. Sophia E. Kramer and Dr. Adriana A. Zekveld from Amsterdam UMC, and Prof. Eco de Geus from the VU.
