Focus of research
My research interests revolve around my clinical work and my work in the domain of education and training in health care.
In the domein of education and training the research focus is centered around the topic of team functioning and interprofessional collaboration. By analyzing the interactions of healthprofessionals in daily practise we develop tailor made training and teaching options, to improve collaboration and ultimately improve patient care. The effect of the training and teaching is evaluated with evaluation research methods.
Within neurosurgery my my previous focus was neurotraumatology. My current focus is related to treatment and care of meningioma patients.
