General
Each year, AGEM organizes a PI event targeted at AGEM PIs. In this meeting we aim to bring together PIs interested in "Societal Differences in Metabolic Health" and identify relevant themes. The overarching goal is to encourage collaboration and cohesion within our research institute.
This theme pertains to the influence of societal differences on metabolic health, or vice versa! Does your research look at the effect of different societal groups on health or healthcare? Or perhaps at how impaired metabolic health affects their societal groups? The theme is broad, enabling you to approach it from various angles if you intend to present a short pitch at the event. Or, if you are just interested in this theme and would like to see what research is being done within the theme, come along too!

Some PIs will present a short pitch, explaining how their research relates to the theme. Following these pitches there is room for discussion and collaboration.
This year’s AGEM event will feature an introductory talk by Charles Agyemang on the theme "Societal Differences in Metabolic Health." We are very excited to include an introductory talk, and we look forward to seeing you there!
