After a forced break of 2 years, last year we were happy to organize the first renewed edition of the Science & Awards Day, in October 2022

In this event we combined the separate events of the AMC Awards session and the VUmc Science Exchange Day, as over the past years also the groups and departments of VUmc and AMC have merged into Amsterdam UMC

Many researchers joined this successful day, following workshops, listening to key-note speakers, and discussing on research during the poster session

In the afternoon, prizes were awarded:

Second edition Science & Awards Day

We have already scheduled the second edition for Friday 8 March 2024, location AMC. Because it is still far away in time, the program is not yet known. If more information is available, we will add this here. Please check this webpage regularly

Encourage collaboration and communication

The goal of this event is to encourage collaboration and communication between researchers of the Amsterdam UMC, across the borders of different departments and research institutes. The S&AD2024 will give you a unique opportunity to present your research, expand your network and get involved in interesting discussions with fellow researchers from research institutes of both locations. Inspiring keynote speakers, interactive workshops, poster pitches and award sessions will be ingredients during the day

During the drinks, at the end of the day, we will make a toast to the winners
