Interventional radiology at Amsterdam UMC

The intervention suites are equipped with 3D rotational angiography and CT acquisition, as well as 3D workstations to allow quantitative image analysis and preprocedural treatment planning.

At location AMC, there is a focus on vascular and acute interventions of neurovascular disease (acute stroke, aneurysms and AVMs) and aortic aneuryms and abdominal oncology. A wide range of devices and expert knowledge is available to perform these interventions at a very high level at a 24/7 basis. On site refrigerated storage is available for temperature monitored storage of investigational preprocedural medication, compliant with the requirements of GCP and the central pharmacy of the Amsterdam UMC.

At location VUmc, there is a focus on oncological interventions. Extensive expertise is also available in performing hybrid nuclear medicine procedures.
