Dasja Pajkrt, Professor of viral pediatric infectious diseases, has been appointed member of the UvA Senate on behalf of the Faculty of Medicine on September 1, 2022. She thereby succeeds Patrick Bossuyt, Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Amsterdam.
The Senate of the University of Amsterdam advises the Executive Board solicited and unsolicited on the main issues of the University's policy. In the fields of education and scientific practice, as well as related student and personnel policy. The advice mainly concerns strategic policy and quality management.
