ABC is an interdisciplinary collaboration between plastic surgeons, clinicians and researchers from the departments of oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopaedics, a team from endocrinology on rare bone diseases and several labs on tissue and cell function.
The centre had its kick-off meeting in the autumn of 2021 and aims to contribute to the recovery and regeneration of bone in patients suffering from (rare) bone diseases. The centre strives to become a major player on the national and international stage. Through the broad interdisciplinary collaboration, the researchers and clinicians aim to improve patient care and create innovations in bone disease and the surrounding tissue.
