Winning combination of drugs for treating Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
Patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) are better off with a combination of ibrutinib and venetoclax. This is more effective than the standard treatment, researchers of Amsterdam UMC discovered.

New drug to treat rare swelling disorder
Patients with hereditary angioedema often experience sudden swelling in their body that can be extremely painful, disabling and sometimes even fatal. A new drug can prevent these attacks and greatly improve their quality of life, according to an international study coordinated by Amsterdam UMC.
