24th Core Facility Genomics (CFG) user meeting, an on-site (RDC building) and online webinar

The CFG of the Amsterdam UMC frequently organizes an user webinar to update Amsterdam UMC researchers on the state of the art in genomics techniques and data acquisitions.
Experts, from diagnostics, research, or industry are invited to present at these meetings. Examples of recent topics: Single Molecule Real Time (SMRT) sequencing, single cell technology/sequencing, Spatial transcriptomics (Nanostring®). The topic of the next webinar on the 30th of September is:
“Discover the Core Facility Genomics at the RDC building, including a lab tour and meet-and-greet”
In this special meeting we will introduce the CFG and the state of the genomics techniques and data acquisitions that we have available, specifically targeted to all the (new) users of the RDC building. Researchers from other AUMC sites are also welcome to join. We will give an update about our move to the RDC building and inform about the latest news from the CFG. The meeting will be held live in the RDC building, with the possibility to follow it online. After the meeting we will organize a tour of the CFG labs and there will be opportunities for questions.

Introduction meetings CFG at location AMC and VUmc
Every month there will be an introduction meeting at the CFG locations. New CFG users, but also routine users who like a fresh up or want to work at the other CFG location are welcome.
Topics during the meeting will be the services CFG offers, safety on the labs, use of machines and access to the labs. The meeting is an addition to on our laboratory regulations that you receive by email and you can find in K2.
