We are pleased to announce that the annual AR&D Retreat 2025 will take place on October 9th and 10th. This event is a unique opportunity for researchers, professionals, and experts to come together, share knowledge, and strengthen the connection within the AR&D community with this year's theme "PrepAR&D for Future Generations"!

This year's retreat will feature engaging keynotes, such as:

• Dr. Anja Schrijer, a medical director at pandemic & disaster preparadness center, who will speak about the Lessons learned from COVID-19.
• Marcel Zuyderland, board member of the Medical Ethics Committee at Amsterdam UMC, who will share insights on future healthcare: from medicine to improvement science.
• Dr. Susanne de Rooij, biological psychologist and epidemiologist at Amsterdam Public Health research institute, who will talk about building a future-proff brain.

As in previous years, there will be workshops, PhD candidate and postdoc presentations, and ample networking opportunities. While the full program is still being finalized, we look forward to providing an inspiring and engaging platform for all attendees.
