Tim Veneman from the neuromuscular disorders research group at the Department of
Rehabilitation Medicine, AUMC, won the best poster award at the DCRM 2023 (Dutch Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine) held in 's-Hertogenbosch on November 9 and 10, 2023.
Tim won the award for his poster titled The validity of cardiopulmonary exercise testing to assess peak oxygen consumption in people with slowly progressive neuromuscular diseases. The judges appreciated the tight pitch during the poster presentation, which invited people to come and see the poster. There was room for discussion and the topic is relevant to the patient group studied, as well as to other groups. With this award, Tim won a certificate and a cash prize of 100 euros.
