General

A PhD-journey is a complex, multi-year project where you are responsible for your own progress. You work in an academic environment with high expectations, changing priorities and, sometimes, conflicting interests.

Many PhD candidates experience uncertainty when planning, find it difficult to make realistic estimates and feel tense during consultations with their supervisory team. Arjenne Louter will give this inspirational workshop where you can pick up tipcs and trics to stay on top during your PhD track.

This workshop provides PhD candidates with the essential skills to:

  • Self-structure their PhD trajectory
  • Realistically allocate time in the long, medium and short term
  • Maintain control over their planning, even in the event of unexpected requests or delays
  • Coordinating effectively with the supervisory team about feasibility and priorities
  • Monitor own limits without burdening contact with supervisors

Through these skills, PhD candidates strengthen their professional autonomy and increase the likelihood of timely completion.
