Het Klokhuis is an documentary show for children, famous for its combination between educational value and funny sketches. Every year, het Klokhuis nominates 10 research projects for the Klokhuis Science Prize. The HipGametes consortium had been nominated for this Prize with their research: “Can we make a sperm or an egg cell in the laboratory?” Callista Mulder (Assistant Professor at the Reproductive Biology Laboratory) proudly represents the consortium with researchers from Amsterdam UMC, LUMC, Erasmus MC, Maastricht University and the Rathenau Institute.
Children can vote via this link from 26 February – 17 March. Callista will also be present at the InScience Festival, a science festival for children, where you can meet all the nominees and learn about science!
