€16.5 million grant for research into effect of CAR T cells in recurrent bone marrow cancerThe UMCG will produce specific CAR-T cells to treat patients with recurrent bone marrow cancer. Together with Amsterdam UMC - Cancer Center Amsterdam, UMCG will study the effectiveness of this potentially new treatment. For the study, which will last six years, Zorginstituut Nederland and Zon MW are making a grant of nearly €16.5 million available.
