This symposium shows how students, as mentors and role models, can help high school students to prepare for their first steps in higher education; from inspiring to selection procedures and ultimately while studying.
The main focus is: why is this important what initiatives exist and what can you take with you? Moreover, we put the students who participated in the Buddies Breaking Barriers project of the Faculty of Medicine VU last year in the spotlight.
