On October 9, we have started an APH project to revise and upgrade our APH Research Quality Handbook, together with a group of enthusiastic researchers from VU and both locations of Amsterdam UMC.

Over the period of the coming 6 weeks we will be writing, revising and reviewing chapters together. In the second phase of this project, we will ask subject matter experts for their opinion and to review the newly added topics.

Over the years the APH Quality Handbook has been a great source of information and has proven helpful for a lot of researchers. The current Quality Handbook is from the EMGO legacy and is in urgent need of an update. For this update, we have the decided to navigate the researcher through the Quality Handbook by using the Research Lifecycle. Moreover, since new topics emerge in scientific research, we will also work on new chapters and the integration of for example Open Science within our Research Lifecycle.
