Topic: Scientific Integrity – a topic that concerns all of us
Chairs: Prof. Ed van Bavel and Prof. Jan Heijmans
Everyone interested in the topic is welcome to join this research meeting!
Scientific Integrity requires continuous attention by anyone involved in science. The ‘rules of the game’ are described by the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity, and are further specified by our recently published Amsterdam UMC Research Code. But how do we ensure that the game of science is played by the rules? And what should we do in unfortunate cases where this appears not to be the case? We invite you to discuss these issues with us in the research meeting on scientific integrity.
