Objective
To be an inspiring meeting place for family physicians, researchers and educators to improve care. To provide a testing ground for practice and academia from which new developments can take shape. To integrate research, education and care innovation with a database as a source of knowledge.

- 65 general practicioners practices with over 250,000 patients in the Amsterdam region (including Haarlem East), including all general practitioners affiliated with the GEZ-Zuid foundation, all general practitioners of the Amsterdam Health Centers Foundation (SAG)
- 10 practices in Haarlem East and 10 practices affiliated with Amsterdam general practitioners group ROHA

Examples
of activities in the field of education and training
- Many GP practices in the ANH are training practices for GP training or student education
- 2/3 times a year there are network meetings with a thematic approach, these can be seen as a form of continuing education
of activities in the field of research
- Large number of successfully completed research projects (> 20)
- A longitudinal research database (15 years) with routine care data from over 250,000 patients
of activities in the area of care (innovation)
- Large database of routine care data available for research and evaluation of care innovation
- Developing a method a of quality improvement using mirror information
Established in 2003.
There is structural cooperation. A contract has been concluded with the partners.
