The call for new projects for the Amsterdam UMC TKI Grant is open! All Amsterdam UMC researchers seeking funding for a public-private partnership project can apply for a grant between €200,000 and €500,000. There is a total grant budget of approximately €4 million available that will be divided among the best PPP research proposals we receive. Deadline for pre-application is May 24, 2024.

More information about the grant, all required documents and information about the workshop we are organizing, focusing on the (changed) terms of the grant, nature of eligible research, budgeting, participation of private partners, application and grant process, is on the TKI page of the IXA website.

Dates workshops:

  • Monday, April 22 from 12:00-13:00 at location VUmc, "De IJssel", ZH 2E 14
  • Tuesdat, April 23 from 12:00-13:00 at location AMC, Costerzaal (next to Voetenplein)

Kaasbroodjes or Kroketten will be served. Sign up by sending an e-mail to tki@ixa.nl with the location you plan to attend in the subject line. There will be ample opportunity for questions after the presentation.

Preliminary funding cycle schedule

April 2024:

  • Presentation for prospective applicants focusing on grant conditions and requirements

May 2024:

  • Pre-proposal deadline, including a signed letter of intent from participating company

July 2024:

  • Selection of pre-proposal winners who will receive detailed instructions for full application preparation

October 2024:

  • Full application submission deadline

January/February 2025:

  • Announcement of final project

March 2025:

  • Signed consortium agreements and start of project
