Material Transfer Agreements

A Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) is used to regulate the transfer of biological and/or human samples from AUMC to a third party or vice versa. Important subject matters that are arranged in a MTA are intellectual property, publication etc. For the avoidance of any doubt, a MTA can only be used for a one-way transfer of material. If you intend to collaborate with the provider of the material please contact LRS for a collaboration agreement.

If you expect commercially valuable results and/or intellectual property from your research you can seek advice with the business development managers from Innovation Exchange Amsterdam (IXA). You can find the contact details of IXA Team AUMC on: https://www.ixa.nl/about/teams/.

Commercial parties

For the draft or review of a MTA with a commercial party, please contact LRS.

Non-commercial party

LRS will not draft or review MTA's with non-commercial parties.
