The Amsterdam Cohort Hub (ACH) is dedicated to improve the infrastructure for longitudinal cohort studies in the Amsterdam region and to increase the impact of these studies in order to benefit the health of the population and society at large.

Every four weeks, ACH organizes a webinar to present our cohort-studies and discuss themes relevant for cohort studies, their staff and researchers. This month, we have scheduled the following webinar:

The Academic General Practice Network Amsterdam UMC (ANHA) - Jos Kanning

The ANHA cohort comprises pseudonymised routine care data from over 1.2 million GP-registered patients in the Amsterdam area, offering rich information on demographics, conditions, and consultations. Updated quarterly, the dataset supports longitudinal research into healthcare use, disease progression, and treatment outcomes, with strong ethical safeguards and high data completeness. Its potential for linkage with other registries further strengthens its value for clinical research.

MyDre , Bauke van der Velde

In this presentation, Bauke van der Velde will introduce myDRE. A secure research environment used at Amsterdam UMC that enables safe storage, analysis, and collaboration on sensitive data. I will highlight how myDRE supports cohortstudies by offering flexible, compliant infrastructure for data-driven research across institutions.
