General
The Amsterdam Cohort Hub (ACH) is dedicated to improve the infrastructure for longitudinal cohort studies in the Amsterdam region and to increase the impact of these studies in order to benefit the health of the population and society at large.
Every four weeks, ACH organizes a webinar to present our cohort-studies and discuss themes relevant for cohort studies, their staff and researchers. This month, we have scheduled the following webinar:
NET-QUBIC: Experiences from a longitudinal multicenter cohort study among head and neck cancer patients and their informal caregivers – Femke Jansen
NET-QUBIC is a unique multicenter longitudinal cohort study among head and neck cancer patients and informal caregivers. In NET-QUBIC patient-reported-outcome measures, interview data and biobank data are collected from time of diagnosis up to 5 years after the end of treatment. In this ACH session, Femke will inform you on the NET-QUBIC cohort and lessons learned from this project.
Genetics as a Driver of Cohort Collaboration – Wouter Peyrot
Wouter Peyrot will describe how genetic research has initiated collaboration between population cohorts in Amsterdam and internationally. He will highlight key discoveries made possible through these collaborations and show how they’ve driven innovation in research methods.
