Specialization
Gynaecologist, specialist in Reproductive Medicine
Focus of research
dr. Femke Mol: I work as a gynaecologist at the Amsterdam Centre for Reproductive Medicine. My team work shows that natural conception and more natural fertlity treatments at home are as effective as advanced assisted reproductive techniques. These natural strategies improve maternal and child health outcomes, reduce the burden on healthcare professionals, and lower the ecological footprint of fertility care. This ensures fertility care remains accessible for the growing number of patients and offers future generations a healthier start!
I have published peer-reviewed articles in leading journals including Human Reproduction and The Lancet as both junior and senior author. I also co-supervised PhD research, including award winning presentations (international) and an award winning thesis (local and national).
