Co-founder, co-owner and Medical Director of The Hand Clinic, Amsterdam, the first private clinic for hand and wrist surgery and therapy in the Netherlands.
Past president of the Dutch Society for Surgery of the Hand and past member of the FESSH Council. Has organized more than 25 national and international scientific meetings and courses.
Gave more than 100 lectures (excluding more than 100 teaching lectures) at national and international scientific meetings and (co-)authored over 130 papers and book chapters.
