Transparency is one of the five principles of the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Scientific Integrity, which also form the base of the Amsterdam UMC Research Code. Therefore, we publicize the external activities (‘nevenwerkzaamheden’) that our full professors carry out according to the HR registration systems. This concerns activities that are relevant in light of the societal impact of research and also activities that can potentially lead to the risk of a conflict of interest.
All Amsterdam UMC employees, including all employees who perform research tasks, must declare their external activities in the HR registration systems. It is the responsibility of employees to register these activities. The external activities of all full professors are listed in the pdf documents (in Dutch) in the download section below. These lists have been created from the information collected in the HR registration systems from both locations and are updated periodically.
