With an amount of EUR 12,000, the collaboration grant 2025 has been awarded to Dr. Felix Chilunga and his co-investigator Dr. Iacopo Vagliano for their research proposal called 'Pioneering AI for Migrant Health Equity’.

Dr Chilunga and Dr Vagliano wrote: “Leveraging our combined expertise in migrant health and AI, along with access to the multi-ethnic HELIUS cohort, we aim to apply AI techniques to identify subgroups of individuals with hypertension who achieve blood pressure control based on integrated biological, clinical, social, and migration background data. These subgroups will form the foundation for a future large-scale grant to develop, validate, and implement a clinical AI tool for personalized hypertension treatment across diverse populations.”

We congratulate them on winning this grant and look forward to the final scientific report describing the results of this collaboration!
