What is the impact of the EHDS and AI-act on your future research? Find out at the COREON roadshow, on Tuesday, 25 November 2025 at Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc.

What opportunities and challenges does the European Health Data Space (EHDS) present for your research? And what are the implications of the upcoming AI-act? These are examples of the issues addressed by the Commission for Regulation of Research (COREON). COREON is an expert network focused on balanced regulation and the practical application of laws and regulations for (observational) health research. Amsterdam UMC, along with many other Dutch institutions involved in health research, is a member of COREON.

On 25 November, Bart Torensma, clinical epidemiologist and COREON board member, and Olenka van Ardenne, legal expert and COREON advisor, will visit Amsterdam UMC with the COREON Roadshow. They will share the latest developments in health research legislation and regulations, such as the EHDS and the AI-act. You will also get the opportunity to get acquainted with COREON. Participants can suggest topics themselves through the registration form.
