Theme Collaborations in microbiome research

On Monday, March 17, 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00, researchers interested in microbiome research can meet each other at this matchmaking event and collaborate on writing a grant application. From one of the UvA research priority areas (RPA), personal microbiome health, a maximum funding of €30k is offered for carrying out feasibility studies, collecting pilot data, organizing interdisciplinary interactions, or supporting the full proposal write-up.

What you will do:

  • STEP 1: Get to know researchers from different faculties and disciplines at the event
  • STEP 2: Form an interdiscplinary duo/team
  • STEP 3: Start outlining a research plan and submit within 2 weeks after the event

At least 2 UvA faculties must be members of the RPA (ACTA, FMG, FNWI, AUMC) and lead the grant application, but researchers outside the UvA are also welcome to collaborate.
