On June 5th, the APH PM Junior Program Council organised the yearly Pecha Kucha event for the work visit grants. Additionally, this year, they also introduced the best paper award, and they selected papers on 3 impact categories: fundamental, societal, and clinical.

In total, 7 researchers presented their work visit plans in the form of a Pecha Kucha. This is a visual presentation style where presenters have 20 slides that each last 20 seconds. All presentations were very well done, and the junior and senior program council had the tough job of evaluating the Pecha Kucha's and selecting the two winners for the work visit grants. Eva Meier and Mirthe Klein Haneveld were selected as the winners!

Eva will visit Australia to study the feasibility and desirability of making patients responsible for managing their own pharmacogenetic data. Mirthe will visit the Guidelines International Netwerk conference in Geneva, Switzerland, where she will present two abstracts on rare disease guidelines. Goodluck Eva and Mirthe, and many thanks to the other presenters: Siham Azahaf, Charlotte Andriessen, Anastasia Goula, Bettine van Willigen, and Martijn Otten. We hope you will find other ways to fund your visits.

We received a couple of great papers for the best paper award! In the fundamental impact caterogy, Daphne Boucherie's paper on the prediction of antidepressant treatment response from cortical structure on MRI was selected. Ezra Oosthoek's paper on gender affirming medical treatment for adolescents was selected for the category societal impact. Finally, for the clinical impact, Isabella van der Meulen's work on puberty suppresion in transgender adolescents and sexual functioning after vaginoplasty was selected. Congratulations!
