Minister of Medical Care Pia Dijkstra went live on Instagram with gynecologist and professor of endometriosis Velja Mijatovic who is also affiliated with the Amsterdam Reproduction and Development Research Institute, among others, about the timely recognition, diagnosis and adequate treatment of endometriosis.
"It's strange that - when so many women suffer from endometriosis - we talk about it so little. And that's why I think it's high time to talk about it now!" It turned into a nice conversation between the minister, Velja Mijatovic, Bianca de Bie (president of the endometriosis foundation) and endometriosis patient Maartje van Hoek.
