New blood test offers better remission assessment for Large B-Cell Lymphoma patients
A large Dutch study validates that a simple blood test can more accurately identify which patients with Large B-Cell Lymphoma (LBCL) are at risk of relapse after treatment. Last week, these results been published in The Journal of Clinical Oncology
Grant of over 1 million euros awarded for research into new imaging technique for hormone-sensitive breast cancer
Medical oncologist Willemien Menke-van der Houven van Oordt has been awarded over 1 million euros in funding from KWF Kankerbestrijding to investigate a novel imaging technique for patients with locally advanced or recurrent hormone-sensitive (ER+) breast cancer.
Major KWF funding boost for innovative cancer research
KWF is investing over 8 million euros in Amsterdam UMC - Cancer Center Amsterdam to support 11 promising and innovative cancer research projects.
