In the first part of the afternoon, ACH manager Emiel O. Hoogendijk presented several ACH updates, including the announcement of our new director, Eco De Geus. As of January 1st, 2026, he will take over this position from interim director Cécile Boot. We are looking forward to working together!
Furthermore, Tristan Coco (Medical library, Amsterdam UMC) demonstrated how to make cohorts visible in PURE, while David Harley (Olink) and Betty Tijms (Alzheimercentrum, Amsterdam UMC) introduced us to the world of biomarker enrichment. đ§Ź
For ACH members, the presentations of the Catch-up meeting can be found on Sharepoint: 2025 October Catchup.
In the second part of the afternoon, we organized a Grant event for early-career researchers, in collaboration with Simone de Jong, our dedicated grant advisor from Research Grant Support, Amsterdam UMC. This event featured a funding strategy session, grant matchmaking, and a cohort collaboration contest, with fellowships to be won (two fellowships of 15k euro each).
