Amsterdam Cohort Hub (ACH) is developing a structured and transparent framework for accessing and exploring population-based cohort data from Amsterdam UMC and partner institutions. This evolving data infrastructure is being designed to promote FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles and to facilitate cross-cohort collaboration and innovation.

Data Catalogue

The ACH Data Catalogue is currently being developed as a central overview of all participating cohort studies. It will provide insight into study characteristics, participant profiles, and measured domains to help researchers identify relevant datasets for secondary analyses or collaboration.

The first version of the catalogue, developed in collaboration with Molgenis/UMCG, already includes general metadata for all cohorts, with more detailed information gradually being added. In the next phase, functionalities for searching and exploring variables will be expanded.

Data Access Procedures

Researchers seeking access to ACH data will soon be able to follow a harmonized and transparent data access procedure. This procedure is currently being developed to ensure efficiency, data security, and compliance with legal and ethical standards (GDPR, METC).
