APH Researcher dr. Patrick Schober is one of the awardees of the TKI-PPP grant. Eleven Amsterdam UMC researchers have received a TKI-PPP grant ranging between 300,000 and 750,000 euros. They will receive a total budget of 7 million euros to carry out a research project in collaboration with an industrial party.

APH researcher Patrick Schober (Medical Specialist in Anesthesiology) got awarded the TKI-PPP grant for his research project HEART-SAFE. This gives Schober the opportunity to develop this innovative technology. HEART-SAFE is a new technical solution that can automatically detect cardiac arrest outside the hospital and using sensor signals from smartwatches that sends automatic alerts to emergency medical services.

Congratulations!
