Groundbreaking new treatments for liver tumors combined into one operation
Recently, a pioneering procedure took place at Amsterdam UMC's hybrid operating room: during the same operation, both a robot-assisted liver resection and a CT-guided liver ablation were performed concurrently.
Two CCA researchers awarded NWO Vidi grants to advance cancer treatment
Iosifina Foskolou and Rachel Thijssen, two talented researchers from Cancer Center Amsterdam, have each been awarded a Vidi funding from the Dutch Research Council (NWO).
Research findings shape ovarian cancer follow-up care
A national project on ovarian cancer follow-up will bring patients and healthcare professionals together to design more meaningful, less burdensome follow-up care.
