In the new IMMUNIZE-MI study, researchers at Cancer Center Amsterdam are testing whether deliberately inducing this immune response with topical MI therapy can strengthen standard immunotherapy. The study focuses primarily on safety and dose optimization, while searching for early signs of a stronger anti-tumor immune response.
