Jet Klunder went on a work visit to the 30th WONCA Europe conference in Paris, from June 30 to July 3, 2026.
"Attending the 30th WONCA Europe conference in Paris offered me the opportunity to meet colleagues from across Europe and to exchange experiences about the organization of care for older adults in different healthcare systems. Although there were relatively few researchers with specific expertise in my niche field of prediction modelling for unplanned hospital admissions, presentations on de organization of care for older adults still helped me to reflect on how my work fits into broader international primary care challenges."
"Beyond the scientific program, the visit also strengthened existing professional relationships with Dutch colleagues – for example while catching up over a traditional game of pétanque. This combination of international exposure and informal networking has been valuable for my current PhD work, my GP training and for thinking about future collaborative projects in aging and primary care."
