Focus of research
As a social cognitive psychologist I am interested in using quantitative and cognitive methods to study sexism, androcentrism, and gender biases across different interactions and media. My current project revolves around social media's effects on gender identity formation and expression. It utilizes computational methodology to explore the bidirectional effects between social media content's effect on people's identity and people's influence on the prominent messages shown across social media.
