Focus of research
The area of my research is airway management, ventilation and capnography during prehospital advanced life support for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. These studies are part of the Amsterdam Resuscitation Studies (ARREST) of dr. R.W. Koster and form my PhD thesis. Other research interests include prehospital care, human factors and organisation of the chain of survival.
